How to Use

• Tear off the safety seal at the top of the bag and gently pull the zipper apart to open.

• Seal the bag by pressing the double-seal zipper, repeating the process for secure closure.
• Label the bag with the date, time, and volume in the designated area.

Note: Avoid overfilling, as milk expands when frozen and may cause the bag to split.

For Thawed Milk:

• Refrigerator (unopened): 24 hours
• Refrigerator (opened): 12 hours

Defrosting Instructions

• Defrost gently to retain nutrients.
• Preferred Methods:

• In the refrigerator over 24 hours.
• At room temperature.

Quick Methods:

• Under cold or lukewarm running water.
• In a bottle warmer (max 37°C).
• Do not use boiling water or a microwave.

After Defrosting:

• Refrigerate unused portions.
• Unopened Bags: Keep for 24 hours.
• Opened Bags: Consume within 12 hours.
• Discard any warmed leftovers.

Important Notes

• Do not refreeze thawed breastmilk.
• Avoid storing breastmilk in the freezer door, as it’s the warmest part.
• Use the oldest milk first.
• Store bags upright or flat in the freezer for easy organization.
• Remove as much air as possible before freezing to prevent freezer burn.
• When freezing flat, separate bags with a paper towel to avoid sticking.
