How to Use:
- Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
- Wash and sterilize all pump parts, then assemble them properly.
- Sit in a comfortable, relaxed position.
- Place the pump’s flange over your nipple, ensuring the nipple is centered, and press gently against the breast to create a tight seal.
- Support your breast with your other hand for better stability.
- If the nipple doesn’t fit comfortably in the flange, consider switching to a larger size.
- To gently stimulate milk flow, start by placing the handle in the first notch (upper groove).
- Squeeze and release the handle rhythmically until you find a comfortable speed and suction level.
- Once the milk starts flowing (usually within 1–2 minutes), switch to expression mode by pressing the top of the handle and placing it in the second notch (lower groove).
- Continue squeezing and releasing the handle to find a suction pressure that feels comfortable.
- If the suction feels weak, press the handle completely to increase suction strength. Prioritize comfort over strong suction.
Warnings:
- If you’re unable to express milk, stop pumping to avoid nipple pain or discomfort.
- Discontinue use if you experience pain in your fingers or hand, as prolonged use under such conditions can lead to tendonitis.
- Be cautious not to knock over the bottle containing expressed milk to prevent spillage.
- If discomfort persists, consult a lactation specialist or healthcare provider.
