Pigeon Nipple Cleft Palate Regular Size

This nipple is specially designed for babies with cleft lip or cleft palate, ensuring a wide enough diameter to prevent milk leakage. Regular size (indicated by "R" on the nipple edge) has a larger tip than the standard type to prevent air or milk from leaking through the cleft. Additionally, it features a slightly larger milk flow hole, allowing smooth milk flow for babies with weak suction power.

How to Use:

• Position the bottle correctly: Hold the bottle so that the thick side of the nipple and the air vent valve face upwards. This allows the baby to press the lower (thinner) side of the nipple to drink milk.
• Assist milk flow when necessary: If the baby has weak suction power or cannot press the nipple effectively, milk may not accumulate inside. In this case, gently squeeze the bottle to fill the nipple with milk.
• Choose the appropriate nipple size: Ensure the correct nipple size is used according to your baby’s condition and growth. Using an unsuitable size may result in too much or too little milk flow, leading to choking or difficulty drinking.
• Storage and care: Do not expose the nipple to direct sunlight or heat, and do not leave it in a sterilizing solution for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the nipple.
• Regular inspection: Before each use, check the nipple by stretching it in all directions. Discard immediately if any signs of damage, such as tears, cracks, or deterioration, appear, or after two months of use.
