How to Use:
- Cleaning & Sterilization: Wash the bottle and nipple thoroughly with warm water and soap. Sterilize using steam or boiling water.
- Fill the Bottle: Pour the desired amount of breast milk or formula into the bottle.
- Attach the Nipple: Securely fix the nipple onto the bottle.
- Warming (Optional): If preferred, warm the bottle using a bottle warmer or under warm running water.
- Feed Your Baby: Hold your baby in a comfortable position and tilt the bottle slightly to allow natural sucking.
- Cleaning After Use: After feeding, wash and sterilize the bottle and nipple for the next use.
- Wash immediately after use with warm water and Pigeon Bottle Cleanser.
- Use a nylon brush for cleaning glass bottles to prevent scratching.
- Before each use: Ensure proper sterilization.
- Boiling Sterilization: Wash the bottle, nipple, and cap thoroughly. Submerge them in boiling water for 5 minutes after boiling.
- Alternative Methods: Chemical sterilization or microwave sterilization using products specifically designed for baby bottles and nipples. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for sterilizing solutions. Note: Bottle printing may fade with chemical sterilization.
- Always refer to the milk packaging for specific preparation instructions.
- Always use boiled water when preparing the milk. Ensure the boiled water is above 70°C before mixing. Do not use water that has cooled below 70°C.
Important Notes:
- If your baby prefers a certain nipple, they may refuse a new one. Introduce two or three different nipples about two months before switching.
- Replace the nipple before it shows signs of wear, regardless of how often it is used.
- Large & Medium Holes: When the nipple is closed, milk will not leak, even if the bottle is tilted.
- Small & Extra-Small Holes: Milk may flow out if the bottle is tilted. Hold the bottle until the flow slows before feeding.
Warnings:
- Before First Use: Boil the bottle for 5 minutes to ensure cleanliness.
- Hand Hygiene: Wash hands with soap and water before cleaning, sterilizing, or feeding your baby.
- Avoid Scratching: Do not use metal brushes, rough cleaners, or abrasive sponges, as they may weaken the bottle.
- Vent & Nipple Maintenance: The bottle's vent and nipple openings are delicate. Rinse thoroughly before first use. Do not rub or pull forcefully, as this may damage the valve and cause leaks.
- Temperature Caution: Avoid sudden temperature changes, especially for glass bottles. Pouring boiling water into a cold glass bottle may cause it to break suddenly.
- Milk Mixing: Always follow manufacturer instructions when preparing the milk.
- Shaking the Bottle: Do not shake the bottle horizontally with the cap on, as this may cause hot liquid to spill. Instead, close the cap securely, mix gently, and let the bottle cool before feeding.
- Cooling the Bottle: After preparing the formula, hold the bottle under running water to cool it. Ensure water does not touch the nipple or cap.
- Avoid Scalding: High temperatures can cause burns. Be cautious when preparing formula or sterilizing the bottle.
- Never Prepare the Milk Near the Baby: To avoid accidental burns or spills.
- Check Temperature Before Feeding: Always test the milk on your wrist before feeding.
- Never prepare milk in the microwave, as it can create uneven heating and cause burns.
- Bottle Temperature Check: After cooling, check the bottle's external temperature before feeding.
- Feed the baby once the milk reaches body temperature.
- Only a caregiver or parent should feed the baby.
- Over-tightening the cap may cause the nipple to collapse.
- Use formula immediately after preparation and discard any unused milk after 2 hours.Always use under
